Return & Refund Policy

Overview
Every BUKVA artwork is made to order — crafted specifically for you, printed on canvas, hand-finished, and numbered. Because of this, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
However, your rights under EU consumer law are fully protected. If something arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, we will make it right.
EU Withdrawal Rights
Please note: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. As all BUKVA artworks are custom-made to order, they are exempt from this right.
This exemption is clearly communicated before purchase. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your artwork is custom-made and non-returnable for change of mind.
When We Accept Returns
We accept returns or offer replacements only in the following cases:
- The artwork arrives damaged due to shipping
- The artwork has a manufacturing defect (print quality, framing, finishing)
- You received the wrong item
- The artwork is materially different from what was confirmed during the design process
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Artworks personalised with your chosen letter, word, or symbol
- Items where the design was approved by you during the proofing stage
- Orders cancelled after production has begun
How to Report an Issue
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Send an email to hello@bukva.art with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or video showing the damage or defect
We will respond within 2 business days and propose a resolution.
Resolution Options
Depending on the issue, we will offer one of the following:
- Replacement: A new artwork reproduced and shipped at no cost to you
- Partial refund: A discount applied in cases of minor imperfections
- Full refund: Issued if reproduction is not possible
Refund Timelines
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Return Shipping
If we ask you to return a defective or damaged item, we will cover all return shipping costs. Do not return an item without first contacting us — unrequested returns cannot be accepted.
